Meditation helps us to respond to the demands of modern life such as work and money worries and relationship problems. Problems that are worsening in the current climate.
Meditation is not just relaxation. The mind stays alert and focused during meditation. It is a method of controlling the mind by giving a point of focus and concentrating on this and nothing else.
The aim of these classes is to introduce different ways to meditate, such as guided meditations, visualizations and candle meditations. Essential oils can also be used to deepen the experience of meditation.
We will also look at relaxation techniques generally, such as hand reflexology and self-hypnosis. The classes also involve profiling a different crystal each month and using crystals to enhance your meditation practice.
